Your link is no good, linking to stuff at chucksbikes.com is a pain.

I'm going to assume you mean the Tektro X40 brakes, which look like decent dual pivot calipers. They have cartidge pads, which is nice, and adjustable angle which is nice too. Tektro usually makes pretty nice stuff.

Tektro X40 Road Brakes
Low-end, re-branded as Nashbar Jailbail among others. I see them all over eBay real cheap.

Hi,
I tried a pair of 57mm Tektro brakes. They weren't good enough.
YMMV.
