I ended up with Goodyear 700 x 28 tires.

Link to the original thread? This independent post has no context to draw better understanding from. Was there a frame/tire clearance issue or a rim width one? Maybe it was the brake calipers that were possibly hindering the choice? Andy

Goodyears are a folding tire Walmart and others sell. Has nothing to do with GOODYEAR used on automobiles. Rogery

I don't wear brown socks very often anymore. Used to be the predominate sock color in my drawer. Maybe I'm too old to care if my socks match anything I'm wearing.
