Which headset to pick?

Looking at a few headsets, I'm uncertain to the brand quality other than from reading online reviews.
Which one would be most logical to pick from the options listed? If none of the below are good, which would you suggest for a 44mm zero stack headset?

option 1:
Brand-X Headset 44IISS Sealed

option 2:
Cane Creek 10-Series ZS44 ZeroStack Headset

option 3:
Cane Creek 40-Series ZS44 ZeroStack Headset

Other option[s] ?

I almost always go with Cane Creek's 40 Series. It strikes me as a good-quality choice without being ostentatious. The Goldilocks Zone of headsets, I guess.

Cane Creek's "10" series headsets are perfectly fine and will give decent service. However, they are no longer listed on Cane Creek's web site so I assume they have been discontinued.

Cane Creek's "40" series headsets are somewhat more expensive and more precise and will give excellent service.

Cane Creek's "110" series headsets are extremely good, in the same league as Chris King's, but VERY expensive and probably not worth the extra cost for most riders.

BrandX? Who knows?

I would go with the Cane Creek 40 series products. Excellent value and a very high quality bearing set. I have been using the 40 series bearing sets for quite some time and have yet to be disappointed.

My first pick is the CC 40-Series. Not finding it less then $48.00, which seems like a decent deal. Going to spring for it.

I can't tell about these headsets. For threaded headsets, I always like to see a design that allows the headset to drain away from the bearings (thus a cone on the crown, cup on the lower headtube, cone on upper head tube, and cup on the top.

I suppose a little obsolete with the new sealed headsets, but the idea may still apply.
