Source for vintage Cannondale replaceable shifter bosses?

Hey Guys

I'm looking for a set of (replaceable) shifter bosses for a mid-90s Cannondale road frame. So far I've phoned Cannondale, looked on eBay and checked with local bike shops. No luck.

Here's a pic of the old ones. You can see the boss on the left is really buggered.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Nothing that will be a direct replacement, Cannondale stopped supporting the 80's stuff when they were sold about 10 years ago. Nova sells a similar setup but for smaller tube sized frames. You can re-radius them to fit using a file or Dremel, using the buggered one as a guide. Just take your time, it will work fine-especially with downtube cable stops.

Ooops- see someone beat me to the punch on a link to Nova, just remember they will not fit unless the radius is enlarged.

Nova recommends using the frame tube itself to re-radius the stop, which would be the most controlled and accurate method.

Or you could do as suggested by Nova and tape a piece of sandpaper to the downtube and use it to achieve the needed radius.

Thanks, guys! :)

That sandpaper on downtube idea is pretty ingenious!
