Avid Ultimate cantis on a bike with narrowish brake posts

Hi ,

This is a long shot , but has anyone had luck running avid ultimate cantis on an older bike with narrow brake posts ? ,

front 70 mm centre to centre

rear 78mm centre to centre

Think it will work ?

Hear they are a good brake and I have found them at a bargain,

Thanks ,

J

I have a fork with a 60.. post separation.. but I don't have those brakes ..
so you are on your own.. might be a wait till someone who does, reads this..
but it's at the top of the stack for a little while..

I tried a set of the pads, though they'd be normal V brake compatible, but they're not..

so if they fit I have a spare set of pads to sell ..
