Campag compatibility for cross frakenvike (magura/shimano)

So, I have my trusty steel steed cross bike that I want to move to campy potenza. From shimano. I have two compatibility concerns.

1) I am using shimano's cx70 top pull road FD as I despise pulleys. Has anybody tried the potenza stuff with that?

2) This frame has IS disc tabs. I am currently using trp a spyre calipers and good use those for the campy build too, but I am wondering if I could get away with using magura calipers with the campy levers. I know the fluid will play well, but am worried about the specifics of fluid volumes and flow between the two. Has anybody dug into this?

There's no possibility to trim the FD on the big chainring with the Potenza lever so I'd be surprised if you can get good function with a derailleur (and I'd guess a crankset) that were never designed to work with the lever. It might be possible to bodge it but systems are really designed as systems and performance is not likely to be very good.

We spoke to Magura about intercompatibility with any of their calipers and they said "no". Usually, one techie to another, if it's do-able there is a less blunt response - but not in this case.

This was my assumption for both cases. It isn't the end of the world if I have to run mechanical discs The real bummer is the FD. Really dont want to use a pulley if I dont have to.
