Chris King Universal Disc Hub (Tandem)
I've spent countless hours on this issue and have been using the only hub that worked for me.
10 Years ago I bought a Chris King Universal Disc hub for Tandem bikes. It came with a 140mm hub spacing and I bought a step-down axel/end cap conversion kit that turned it into 130mm spacing. Luckily it has been working for me on my Sycip CX bike, I would switch between disc and caliper brakes for CX racing season. Now I just stick with the discs and don't have any disc alignment issues.
There is one frustrating limitation and only one work-around: you will be limited to 10spd because the cassette body spacing with only work with Shimano HG spline compatible cassettes (or SRAM 10spd). Chris King doesn't sell a conversion for 11spd or XD driver so you are limited to 10 speed. The only work-arounds are the new Shimano 11spd cassette that is still compatible with the older HG spline! That does limit your cassette and drive train choices.

Sunrace 11spd HG compat: go to universalcycles DOT com/shopping/product_details.php?id=87306
Here is the last place on earth you can buy them (ASPIRE VELO TECH): go to avt.bike BACKSLASH chris-king-rear-universal-disc-hub-standard-qr-32-hole-black.html
You will need to find the right disc adapter that will align your rotor correctly, it will probably be the same one I have (don't remember off the top of my head). Let me know if you want more details and pictures of my set up.
The hub itself is serviceable and will hopefully last as long as my frame, which is why I bought it in the first place. So far so good and best of all I can keep riding the frame I like despite the 10spd limitation. It's not that bad but parts are getting harder to find for shifters, etc.
If anyone does try the CK hub and 11spd cassette I would be interested how it works for you, I'd like to stick with my SRAM stuff but I have no idea how well it will work with the Shimano or Sunrace cassettes.
I haven't tried this Halo hub but it is another option: go to universalcycles DOT com/shopping/product_details.php?id=68136&category=573 I've never used Halo hubs and this one doesn't look all that sturdy for a rear wheel build with 24 spokes and a disc brake. I guess it depends on your weight and riding style but for me I use 32 spokes 3x because I'm no lightweight and want a stronger rear wheel.
Good luck!
Note - I can't post url's yet so you have to put in the http's and the w's and slashes and stuff.

The OP still has not said what frame he purchased nor what material it is made of. These 2 answers could have helped a lot with information for assistance to him.

@bwilli88
And it's a 2016 Jamis Coda
Already reported this was solved
Just thought I would report on the final outcome of this.
Lot of back and forth emails with the manufacturers customer service and warranty department:
- they finally (reluctantly) admitted they "might" have provided me with the wrong information;
- then they let me know they were working on a solution with DTSwiss
- after that: complete radio silence (even not replying to my emails)
- finally wrote to the CEO of the company
- then their customer service got back in touch
- but then stopped communcating again
- then wrote again to CEO
- finally they credited me the cost of a new DT Swiss hub that I ordered in the mean time.
Positive outcome, painful customer experience (took 80 days, +20 emails).
Next step: rebuild my wheel with the new hub.
