Canti vs Disc Brakes with S&S Connectors

If I want to build up a frame with S&S Connectors so I can split the bike in 1/2 and I smarter to put on Cantilever Brakes or Disc Brakes? Or does it not matter?

I was just wondering about the easy of setting the bike back up after taking it apart and if one type of brake is more picky about adjustments - since I will have to reconnect the shift and brake cables to the rear. I thought perhaps the cantilevers might be less fussy about slight differences in the cable form being disconnected and then reconnected.

Good quality cable "splitters" work well and reconnect with the original brake and even indexed shift adjustments intact. Therefore, either cantilever or disc brakes should both work. I assume you are only considering mechanical discs.

Yes , set up brazing your cable housing stops to be one on either side of the Coupler ,

since those disconnects are for bare cable.

Hydro you remove the brake entirely & pack it connected with the handlebars..
then zip tie guides with those C clips , will facilitate removal and refitting.
