1986 Trek Tri Series 500 - bottom bracket

Picked up a 1986 Trek Tri Series
Sakae FX crankset
Hatta High Cup bottom bracket, 3P length - 119, english, JIS. The tapers are shot on one end. Havent had luck finding a replacement.
Shimano 600 6 speed.

Looking for help on BB cartridge options - but struggling to determine length. I believe I will need a 122, left crank will sit out a bit?

Are you certain that it is the spindle taper which is damaged and not the crank taper? Being aluminum alloy, the crank is more likely to be damaged than the steel spindle.

Steel spindle versus aluminum crank, you can guess which one wins! I’ve never seen worn out spindle tapers, but I’ve seen plenty of worn out crank arm tapers.
