Transfer Shift/Brake Levers to new "Bracket" Unit?
My Ultegra 6700 Rear Shifter broke today. The ratchet mechanism is broken and fell out. I was looking around for possible new/used replacements and came upon this "spare part" on Ebay. Anyone know how easy/hard it is to transfer over the shift and brake levers??

I believe the ratchet assembly is housed in the brake lever blade, so the imaged part isn't going to fix the problem. What am I missing? Andy

So I poked around on YouTube and did find a video of someone taking the shifters apart, and it looks like you just pop the screw that holds the levers to the shifter. It looks easy on the video, but I can't seem to manage it on mine. Any tips??

It looks like there's an "e" clip retainer on the hinge pin inside the brake lever. I bet it's hard to see. Maybe you can push hard on the hinge pin to remove it, but you'll need to find the clip and know how to reinstall it.
