Will road triple reconfigured to 46/30 work correctly on Sram Force 2x11?

I have a bike with Sram Force 2x11 system. The currently crankset is Sram Force 50/34 and 11-32 but the gearing is a bit higher than I'd like. The frame is Soma Double Cross.

I have a Shimano 5700 triple crank that currently has 30/39/50 configuration. I would like to remove the 39 and 50 and install a 46 in the middle position with an end result of 30/46.

Would my Sram Force 2x11 system work correctly with the 5700 triple using only 30/46 in the inner and middle chainrings?

There's no specific reason it shouldn't work. The main problem is going to be that your "granny' inner ring is going to be a couple millimeters closer in than the inner double and both rings are lower. On some frames and front derailleurs you won't be able to get the derailleur far enough in and down. But you may be able to space the crank out a few millimeters if necessary.

SRAM front derailleurs use the same cable pull as the older Shimano FDs and others, so if your SRAM FD won't adjust some other FD might.
