Disc brake rotor flange mount size

I just ordered a new 29" Mavic TN119 wheel a couple hours ago to replace a 700c wheel thinking it would work without problems since they're both 622mm ISO but I just came across some 6 bolt rotor flange mounts (or whatever the heck they're called) for sale on a site while browsing for something else and noticed they come in two different sizes - Mountain bike = 48mm and Road bike = 44mm.

I was intending to transfer the rotor from the 700c wheel to the Mavic but since that one is almost certainly a mountain bike wheel (wasn't listed as one but seems obvious it is) I'm guessing that means my rotor from the 700c has no chance of fitting does it?

EDIT: Just read the 48mm size is only for European rotors? So I should be ok then?

44mm bcd is a worldwide standard for 6 bolt rotors on mountain and road bikes.

I've never heard of a 6 bolt rotor with a 48mm bcd before this thread.
