12mm axle on 15mm fork

Hi, I have a new 2017 Raleigh RXM to build up and am shopping for wheels.

It uses a 15mmx100mm front thru axle fork.
I have an opportunity to buy a front wheel with 12mmx100mm axle.
Can I just swap the end caps for 15mm ones or will the ID likely be too small?

btw - the wheelset I'm thinking of buying is Specialized DT Swiss Axis Elite 2.0

Thanks,
Scott

Given, one end of the fork is threaded, get the right size TA. hub.

Get the right end-caps for the wheel and make the 12mm wheel a 15mm wheel.

- Thanks Marcus - So you think the hubs ID is at least 15mm and the end caps are the limiting factor?

This could be the case; it depends on what ID your hub's bearing uses. My front hub use 15mm ID bearings, but with end caps, can fit 12mm TA or QR (and of course 15mm).
