chain skips middle front cog
Hi all,
a real amateur here, trying to fix up my old bike from years ago and just discovered that the chain skips directly from from the largest front cog to the smallest without hitting the middle cog when I change front gears. The derailleur is a Shimano Altus c20 if that helps. I've tried adjusting the two small screws (not even sure what they do) and have also tightened the cable. This only resulted in the chain not being able to change to the largest cog :) sorry if this has been asked before... Any ideas? Cheers, Llama |
