A buddy just got an old Cannondale 2004-5 non-suspension Badboy. He'd like to use it as a cycle wrenching learning platform. (He's restored motorcycles & cars) He has interest in swapping the front fork for a carbon fiber disk compatible unit. Were these ever available for 26"-ers and 1" steerers? If so, anyone know a current source?

Might be inch and an eight.
2004/2005 seems likely.

Agree. This page seems to show a Badboy having 1-1/8" fork:

Earlier models had a proprietary headset:
Headset: 1 1/2inch threadless Cannondale HeadShok SI
Good luck with that!

Ok. Looks like it's 1-1/8. That changes everything.
