Ultegra Shifter Question

Hi All,

My Focus Izalco has Ultegra shifters. The smaller shifter on the left side (low side crank shifter) feels as though it has three detents. I've searched the net and watched countless YouTube videos but can not find an explanation for the detents. Anyone?

Thanks in advance!

That is called the "trim" function. Middle click allows you to slightly move the derailleur so it doesn't rub on the chain when in ln less than ideal front/rear combinations. Depending on your setup it may not be needed or may be essential.
