Tire size help

I have a Jamis hybrid bike. The tire size is 700c x 35c. I want to buy new tires on Amazon. The problem is the tires I'm looking at use mm sizes like 700 x 35mm. Is this the same as 700c, if not what size should I order? I asked this question on Amazon but have not received a response. I don't want to order the wrong tires. Thanks

Yes, 700 is 700c. To make absolutely sure, look that the specifications and confirm that they are 622mm in diameter. (Also, they are 35mm wide, not 35c, which is not a thing but for whatever reason shows up on tire descriptions all the time.) (Yes, it's maddening.)

622mm is the bead seat diameter of "700c" wheels. 35mm is the width . The tires you want will say either 35*622 or 700x35c.

You don't necessarily need to buy what is already on there. With a little research you may be able to get something that suits you better, if it isn't already perfect.

+1
Sometimes the factory tires are real pigs like the 35mm's that were on my Globe.
I put on 28mm tires of a different brand and the difference was profound. It made the bike fun instead of "transportation".
Brisker acceleration and much less rolling resistance.
