Trek DS 2 kickstand

Just bought a new Trek DS 2. Love the bike, but I need a kickstand. The reviews on the trek integrated kickstand are dismal. Any suggestions? Also, what’s your take on the Duotrap, is it worth it?

I found what was the issue was more the bolts, of a softer stainless than the KS itself..
(in Shop, 1st hand)
Seek out higher strength bolts .. seen the issue on 920 that toured across the country
( used by Af-Raq war vets in a re civilian immersion adventure program)
essentially rentals not their own bikes.
also, pay attention .. don't let the bolts get loose ..

Alternative maker of rear KS : https://www.pletscher.ch/index.php/e...-kickstands-en

IDK about interchangeability, i've have not tried them personally..
even then I'd still look for stronger alloy of steel same in same type bolts.

OTOH, a Click stand is always an alternative .. brought with .. rather than fixed upon..

Others want oodles of data , as they work immersed in computers ..
is that describing you?

it's certainly not me.

Other than on a long bike tour, I never put a battery in my 1 computer..
I only used It, to track miles.. not even rate of speed.
