Brazen on Front Derailleur question
Is there a way , accessory, that would allow lower the FD so a sub compact crankset could be used?

You can buy a clamp to which your existing derailleur can bolt just like it bolts to the brazed on mount, as long as there is enough room below the brazed on mount. Search for “front derailleur clamp”.

There might be one more such adapter in the market, but they are not cheap as the demand is limited. The mentioned clamp might be had for little, by contrast.

wickwerks version works good. My buddy put that on his wife's bike when fitting a "super compact" crank set.
