Sleeve the cable in this old Cinelli Spoiler BB shell?



If so, what would you use? There's grooves for the cable and pics of old assemblies show the cable just on the frame, but...

I'd use plastic liner. Shimano sells it in two sizes, smaller gray and larger white. Your LBS should have some on hand, you don't need more than about 6-10 inches. Also works great in most over-the-BB routing situations.
