Some more specifics about how to boot. Cut a piece of tire about 3" long. Cut off both beads. Tear off tread strip. Put that strip of tire in bottom of your patch kit. When you get a flat put the whole piece in the damaged tire. Since it is a very big piece air pressure will hold it in place, it won't flop around. When you get home decide how big a boot you need and how you want to glue it in.

Mountain bikers and gravel bikers boot very large gashes. More likely to work at lower pressure.

Since you are in habit of going fast you do not want flat-proof tires. They will slip all over the road leaned into a corner @ 70kph. Use best tires you can find. For the way you ride that Yksion is already a bit below the mark.
