10 speed cassette on Shimano R540

I just bought a new bike with Ultegra 10 and would like to use a set of Shimano R540 wheels as a training wheelset. I don't know however, if the 540's will accept a 10 speed cassette. I would appreciate you feedback. Thanks, Ron

Yes it will work, unless you have a 11-21 cs7800 cassette. All you need to do is add a spacer( a 1mm spacer I think) between the casette and the freehub body for it to work
