Rehabbing old bike
I am rehabbing an early 70's bike with 3 speed in hub gears. It has not been ridden in 25 years. Back in the day, I could do this blindfolded. Now, I better keep them open!
My questions concern proper lube.
1. Normal wheel bearing grease for front tire, fork and crank bearings?
2. What do I use on the rear hub? Grease bearings and 30W oil for the internals?
3. I will lube and reuse the brake and shift cables unless I find problems. I have a cable luber tool.
4. How - where do I lube the caliper brake mechanisms?
New tires and tubes are on order. They are badly dry rotted. Will get new brake pads, too.

I personally use synthetic 10-30 motor oil in my '68 Raleigh S5 hub for everyday lubing. I also used grease in the actual wheel bearings of it when I re did it a while back.
What kind of oil for a three speed?
