Ideas for an oval rails adapter?
I'm planning to purchase a carbon saddle (with oval rails) for my Cabyon Grail CF 8.0 which only supports round rails.
As the clamps tighten the rails from the sides and not top/bottom, I would need to get a (dedicated) adapter.
I was wondering if it's possible to make some shims (maybe from some soda cans or similar) to be used as an adapter. I guess I could just buy the Canyon adapter but it would be more fun to make one. Do you guys have any recommendations for a long lasting one?

If you have the VCLS seatpost, you're gonna have to buy the 7x9 clamps. The way those clamps hold the rails, there's simply no way to adapt it-- they grab directly from the sides.
