WTB Scraper rim tape tubeless

I have WTB Scraper i35 and 2,8 Trailblazer and i want to make them tubeless. My tubelles sealent is coming in some days so i wanted to test them dry. After 20 mins of taking the tyre off i looked at the tape and it looks like tubeless tape. I inflated it and it holds air but some air is escaping from 2 spokes. My question is do I need to put another rim tape and try it again dry or should I wait for the sealent and add it?
