I have a 2014 Tallboy, Shimano Deore groupset. Great bike. The rear, right side lever sprung a leak, needs replaced. I have looked at options on eBay. If I get a Deore XT Lever, will it interchange acceptably for the old lever? I am famous for making changes that seem good when I start that don't work out. I want this to go smooth.

I would replace a Servowave lever with a servowave one, and non-servowave lever with a non-servowave one. If you respect this rule, it should work.
