Proflex 852 Offroad elastomer
Good morning
This may be a long shot but I've got an Offroad Proflex 852 in need of a new elastomer.
There are 4 purple aluminum discs on the rear shock. This company sells the elastomers but couldn't tell me whether single, double or triple elastomer would fit. I am assuming a single but not sure how these spacers would fit. Do any of you have an idea about which one would have been OEM?

I don't think doubles were introduced until the '95 model year (855, 755, etc.). Singles before that. I was repping the brand when the '95s came out.

I have an 853, year later model but same design, the stock was a single-stage on it but I added a washer and ran with two different softness when it was time to replace. I have ordered and have in hand a spring setup from NuLifeCycles but have not installed it yet. I did put their springs, front and rear, on an 855 last week and they worked great. Cost $55 but should be the last time you have to replace it.

Thanks, I found this thread while looking for a Proflex online to buy. I have the 853, I bought it brand new, I'm rebuilding as a road only for riding around town and use an 857 for dirt. Just bought an 855($220) for my daughter in college and an 856($250) for my wife. For the price, they are great full suspension bike that are built very well(IMO) and I love being old school, lol..
