Need help with post mount to flat mount adaptor on road bike

I'm helping my friend build a 2016 Giant Defy disk (post mount) with Shimano 105 7020 Hydraulic groupset. What adaptor do I need to adapt the two different brakes?

Apparently, from what I read here, Shimano's hydraulic calipers that are post mount can replace the flat mount ones..
so get the bleed kit & the post mount caliper and swap that ... on the end of the hose ... is the way to go..

Others feel free to Opine..

Someone else had posted this on this forum, so credit to that person. I don't remember who it was.

That was probably me. This adapter is the only one that I know of to adapt flat mount calipers to post mount frames. They were never intended to be compatible.
