Very glad to not be needing parts just now! But our mtn.bikes' tires aren't looking great, and are old, but still not falling apart. Have gone online to see what was available in 26"-559-mtn.bike tires and all I clicked on were out of stock. I do have a set of good tires for one bike, if I need them, but if one of our other 26" wheeled bikes tires need replaced, could be a while before I find 'em! Good thing most riding for now is done on the road bikes!

I ordered 5 tubes from BikeTiresDirect on Sunday, they shipped on Monday, and now the USPS sent them to the wrong zip code. Arggghhhh. Not a far away one though, but it will add a day. I understand though, they are swamped.

I'm in the same boat. I can't find any parts for my Trek 5200.

Expand your search. 5500, 5600,5700, etc. will all work just fine, as will just about any Deore RD from MT60 through 9 speed

Finding parts here on Long Island is really tough right now.

Have you found a 26" rubber rim band yet? I may have one in my garage that I can send for the cost of a postage stamp.

I also have a brand new Shimano UN55 68mm X 113mm bottom bracket, a brand new set of black Kool Stop MTB brake pads, still packaged, and other stuff. We should set up some type of trade network.

Maybe part of this shortage is that individuals are not willing to bring stuff to ship and aren't listing their things on eBay. I know I've had parts that people could use that I would normally have sent for a nominal trade, but not now.
