Another, yep another, solve my clicking noise thread

I have a clicking sound coming from the front of my bike that I would like to eliminate. It occurs when peddling or not. It is random in that it is not particularly rhythmic, but it is frequent and regular. On hot days, it will sometimes stop after 30 minutes or so, but last night for example it was constant for my 1 hour ride. When there is no weight on the front wheel it spins freely without the clicking. Isolating the shifters, brakes and phone mount on the bar does not eliminate it, nor does eliminating movement of the cables where they enter the frame.

Bike is a brand new Sirrus 4.0 with no more than 100 miles on it. My wife has one also that does not make the noise. Other than frame size (M versus L), and our weight difference of about 60 pounds, our bikes are the same. Flat pedals so no clipless attachment points.

My current guess is that maybe the spokes are just a bit loose.

Not sure if the attached videos will help, but any suggestions or thoughts will be appreciated.

Yes, it has had the recall addressed. Bought it after the recall about 3 weeks ago.

I had a rhythmic ticking noise bother me for the better part of three months. Usually when putting power into the pedals and at one position on the stroke.

Turned out to be a metal zipper tag on a low slung seat bag hitting the brake caliper.

New bike, I'm sure the LBS will look at it for you.

Spokes too loose. LBS had it fixed in about 20 minutes even though their store was packed.

Shout out to Bicycles, Inc. in Arlington, Texas!

Was it a real senior mechanic who fixed it for you or just a basic shop employee?

Believe the guy was a mechanic. He diagnosed the issue in a couple short laps around the parking lot, asked if I could stick around for it, and then got on it. Also found a loose saddle bolt and tightened it. Had me in and out in no time. Only my second time in that store, so don't know the staff at all, but this guy obviously knew his stuff and exactly what to do.

Excellent anecdote. There's nothing better than true pros like that. The reason I asked is because I was told many LBS employees fall far short of being called real mechanics even though they work on bikes as though they are.
