Trailer coupler too small for axel

I recently bought a Nakto electric bike and tried to attach the coupler for tow a trailer. The coupler I have wonít fit over the axel, itís too small. Iíve searched the internet trying to find a coupler with a larger opening but canít even find a listing that says the diameter of the coupler. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Errr....Ehhh.... Drill it out?

A picture or two might help for additional suggestions but as a member with less then 10 posts, you will have to post them on a host site and refer to the url in your message.

Also there are a few different type trailer couplers in use.... might be helpful if you let us know which one you are currently using.
