Vintage Weinmann hoods ?
Can anyone suggest where I might find a set of black hoods for these levers ? eBay has only produced sellers overseas which I’d rather avoid if I can.
Perhaps a model of Shimano is similar?

Cane Creek non-aero brake hoods are the ones for that Weinmann / Dia-Compe ‘red dot’ lever.
They are designed to fit over that little ferrule that sits on top of the lever housing, that’s what gives them that ‘point’ where the cable comes out
They’re pretty widely available, for about $10/pr.

Agreed that the DC 144.xxx hoods will fit these lever bodies but as sort of mentioned the cable exit of the current hoods is not open/large enough for the barallel adjusters the OP's levers have. The new hoods can be stretched on over the adjusters or the adjusters can be removed and a common ferrule used instead. Andy
