Tektro's naming convention for brakes?

What's the logic behind Tektro's product naming convention? Especially of their brakes.
The brakes has strange names, for example: R316, R530, R539, R540, R559, R730, R737, R741 ...

I do not think there is a naming convention just a different number to indicate a different model of brake. Roger

Or could it be that the first digit indicates series, higher digit = higher quality, and the last double digits are a generation number?
