So the sv13s were a bit too tight of a fit. Schwalbe now makes Schwalbe SV21 650B Inner Tubes - 27.5 x 1.5/2.4" (40/62-584). This is the correct tube. Just an fyi

Interesting, I don't have any issues using the SV13s in my 650x47 tires

would some mid-width 26" tubes be a bad idea? They'll have to stretch a bit, but not so much that they would be stretched dangerously thin, I would think. I have 650B 47mm tires on my gravel bike, but I haven't had to use any tubes yet.

The lack of 650b x 47-48ish tubes (actually made and labled for tires in that size range) is surprising. I recently built up my first 650b bike,a gravel bike, and I use 650b x 48 tires on it. I run tubeless, but always carry a spare tube. My spare tube in this case is labeled 650b x 35-43, which would work fine.

But considering we carrry three different brands of tires in my shop in either 650b x 47 or 650b x 48 , it just seems odd that Schwalbe is maybe the only one making tubes specifically labeled for this tire size (none of the three tire brands I referenced is Schwalbe, btw). Hopefully, more tubes in this size will become commonly available, the tire size is certainly popular right now on gravel bikes.

The 27.5 mtb tubes generally start at around 27.5 x 2.1" labled width, which equates to about 650b x 53-54, and goes up from there in width. I'm not saying tube sizing can't be made to work when it's not a perfect match with the tire, but it does seem odd that it's actually kind of difficult to find an inner tube labeled for 650b x 47-48 size range, when it has become a fairly common tire size.
