Although a missing tooth is nothing that will hinder you to arrive to your destiny, it might derail the chain eventually. I'm more concerned on the wear that's apparently on the other teeth, as many appear on the picture to be "shark fin shaped"; this wear will eat through chains and probably end up shearing off/ loosing more of them. According to RaceFace, the Aeffect has a removable Direct Mount chainring so, no need to change crankarms. Here are pictures of a new crank/chainring combo and chainring (both from the RaceFace page). Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in with more info. or other alternatives. Good luck.

Sorry for my late response; the ones pictured is from the RaceFace'swebsite. The best best will be for you to call/write RaceFace and ask directly to them, as I'm unfamiliar with your specific model. Also, you might look around the crankarm for a model number/date of manufacture and/or, remove the driveside crankarm and look for a model number on the chainring/spyder. With this info., you can order your replacement. Here's the RaceFace links.

What should be the average price for one of those?
would $150 be too much just for the one ring?
