AR tool; read the fine print.
Opening a beer in my shop last night, I realized that I have quite a few bottle opening tools hanging on the pegboard or hidden in the tool chest. So, here's the quick challenge: guess and then physically count how many you have in what's just your "shop area". Bonus: Show a photo of the most unusual one. I thought five, initially. Here's what I found:
- on folding knives = 3
- paint lid pry tool with opener = 1
- Topeak Alien 2 tool = 1
- Leatherman tool = 1
- AR-15 multi-wrench = 1
- vintage Craftsman/Schrade multi-tool = 1

So my actual total was eight. I can show a photo of the Schrade multi-tool, if anyone is a vintage enthusiast here.

I have two of those fastener installers that use a 22 blank cartridges, in a drawer next to my bike tools. If anyone wants to try opening a bottle with one, betcha it would make a great video "hey, watch this!"

Somewhere in my parts stash I have a couple of Brodie Bike derailleur hangers with built in bottle openers. I'll have to see if I can find them.

On a bit of a tangential note, does anyone have one of those absurdly expensive Campy corkscrews? Bonus points for having the gold one.

I got a handful of these to give to whomever brings beer for after the ride. Kept one for myself, works just fine.

I count four;
1. Magnetized bottle opener that sticks to the lid of my keezer.
2. Church key that I keep on my keychain
3. One integrated in the heel(?) of a BBQ spatula
4. Novelty one on the back of a pedal wrench
Also included a pic of said keezer. Only two beers (and one soda water) on tap at the moment.

Somehow, my Pilsner Urquell bottle opener, which came straight from the brewery in the Czech Republic, got lost...And now I must have one of these Park openers. Must. Have.

^^^Well, like most Park stuff, it's not the coolest but certainly functional. Hope you can find the Czech one, maybe one of your friends "borrowed" it.

I'm going through my parents estate and have literally a box full of openers of all types. I've sold a few a keeping a few gems myself.
I run the beer tent at our church festival (well, pre COVID) and when the distributor drops the beer trailer it always has a box of openers/hats/shirts etc to give away, so I have plenty.

Well, I knew I had two as I see the one on the keezer all the time, and the pedal wrench also sits in plain view.
When I went down to check I heard my keys jangling (3) and remembered the one on the spatula (4) that hides behind the huge bag of lump coal.

Not what you think, This was a bottled soft drink back in 1910 into the roaring 20's. https://www.bhamwiki.com/w/Gay-Ola I keep it on my keychain and it use to see use often. However as I've gotten older a six pack last me several months if no one visits.

This is on my other keychain. So when I don't have the other set of keys it opens beer nicely. Though not specifically a bottle opener that's been about it's only use for the last 20 years.

Got this at a bike ride. I've worried the saddle will break off if used too often. It's actually in my tool box drawer. I know there are quite a few other church keys that are buried under stuff in my shop. Some are even more unique than the first pic, but until I have to search through stuff for something else, they'll just be my memories or something for my kids to deal with when I ride or sail off on that last big adventure. My wife says I'm morbid to think that stuff, but hey we got to go sometime.

I've given away half a dozen as gifts, the silver one. My wife got me one but black plastic. It's been, hmm, 1 hour 45 minutes since I last used it.

I had one that I made from an old ice pick. The climbing type.

Definitely a harbor freight one.

Seems like finisher medals have built in bottle openers lately.

I've been tempted to mount one to my bumper but have resisted the urge.

Of course any flat edge will do. For bikes, that includes most pedals and most tools of any sort.

Sadly, my recycling company makes me drive glass to them but will pick up the cans, so I seek out the cans. I do generally prefer bottles though.
