Suspension fork remove remote lockout

The remote lockout on my Fox 32 Float FIT4 no longer seems to be working. The problem seems to be with the actual remote itself or atleast the cable, since the cable won’t fully retract after turning the lockout off. Nevertheless, I just want to remove the lever from my handlebars since I do not like the way it looks anyway. I much rather reach forward with my hand to lock it on the actual fork itself, since I rarely use it to begin with.

However, I cannot seem to find the appropriate cap for this. Is it perhaps not as simple as I imagined it would be? Just unhook the cable and put a cap on it that allows me to turn to the lockout position by hand?

Thanks for the post. I checked it out, but it seems it is only suitable for the left side of the fork, to adjust the pressure.

I cannot seem to find a proper adapter for it. Am I truly the only person who hates a remote lockout?

Did you come right?

Hi, I'm in the same situation as you. Did you manage to make a plan back then?

OP hasn't posted anything in four years, it would probably have been better to start a new thread.
