Tektro Brake Cartridges

I have tekttro caliper brakes and want to replace the cartridge shoes. Which ones should I order? Are they all the same? Thanks.

There are a few industry "standards" for brake pad inserts and their shoes. The Tektros I have seen with replaceable inserts (for road calipers) have used the Shimano fit standard. Of course your brakes might be different or have had some other pads installed without our knowing. Andy

The Tektro caliper brakes I have (R539) do use the same insert pads as Shimano caliper brakes.

A lot of sellers sell tektro pad online but first you must uninstall your pad to know type of yours.

That's true but Tektro's OEM pads are pretty poor. Kool Stop's Salmon "Dura" pads are far better and should fit the Tektro pad holders.
