Fixing a double cage rear hydration system (Vision)

Hi, I recently bought a Vision rear hydration system that is meant to fit any saddle. I have a Fizik saddle and I am having issues attaching it (it seems the back saddle bars are at the wrong angle). Essentially the bracket can't be attached/screwed on due to a large gap/incorrect angle between saddle and system. Any advice for a solution would be much appreciated! Thanks

I can't offer the solution without seeing a photo of your setup but looking at a pic of the bottle holder it looks like you can change the angle of the individual holders by using different screw attachments on the vertical brace of your bottle carrier. Vision TriMax Rear Hydration System - Modern Bike This mentions various mounting angles can be had. Hard for me to articulate but maybe someone else can explain it better. Looks like a quality piece though.

When I started cycling a lot and far, I used to think under the saddle bottle holders would be the thing. Then I realized how annoying they would be getting on and off and the chance that a bottle would rub on my thigh or butt while riding.

If you want them, great. But there might be downsides. One being how often do you go on trips needing more than two bottles that can be held on the downtube and seat tube of most bikes. For the few times I go far with no water sources along the way, I just put bottles in my rear jersey pockets.

I agree with the possible critiques of this, but if a rider needs more bottles, or needs to get them behind for aero advantages, it seems like a quality product.

But....Since when is a bottle holder a hydration system? Its bad enough they use the word hydration, but where's the "system"?
