Quick-Link with Campy?

Can I use a KMC quick-link with a Campy 11s chain? Or, is using the Campy pin - and having to buy the Campy chain tool - the only option?

KMC 11-speed Missing Link quick links work fine on Campag 11-speed chains.

Thank you.

I use a SRAM 11-speed quick link on my Campy Chorus chain (as well as a few Shimano chains). I went with the SRAM mainly because they claim you can reuse it after opening as opposed to KMC who say only use it once.

I wish the KMC guy would pop in and explain this. There is a reusable 11s missing link (CL555R), but for some reason in the not too distant past, they stopped saying it could be reused on Campagnolo. What can you imagine would be entailed in making one link vs. another?

Have a couple of these.. haven't broken one yet. Supposedly good for any brand chain basically:

EDIT: Actually, where did you see that either SRAM quicklinks are ok for Campy chains, or even that they're reusable. First link I found is this REI listing.. the 4th "feature" bullet says: Due to the tight tolerances of 11-speed drivetrains, each PowerLock is good for one-time application only

Sram 12 speed axs quick links are not supposed to be reused, but as long as the link has some snap to it, I keep using them, but never for more than the life of one chain or about 3,000 miles. I alternate chains about every 600.

I'm going back several years and just making some assumptions due to that...and realizing I was dumb for not fact-checking...but it seems that I must have read that the SRAM links were reusable on Amazon (the product page currently says so). A statement which I am now finding to be likely false, though the actual packaging of my SRAM Powerlocks says nothing about not reusing them. Now, it is also possible that I am simply recalling my decision-making process incorrectly and that I did indeed fact check and decided to go with the SRAM links just because (maybe availability at the time?). Anyway, apologies to anyone whom I confused with my 'reusable' comment as I cannot back it up. Nor have I ever removed any of those 11-speed links in use for that matter!

Now as far as a SRAM link being compatible with a Campy chain, again, I can't recall how I determined it would fit. More than likely I just took a chance given the fairly small expenditure and low risk. I've mixed and matched plenty of quick links over the years.

I've used SRAM, Wipperman, KMC, and YBN quick links on my 11-sp Campag systems, all with Campag chains. They all work. SRAM and KMC seem to work the best IMHO, YBN is okay - sometimes even new ones won't "snap" shut, and the Wipperman-Conex didn't seem to shift as well as the others. But they all worked, and I would use any of them if I needed to.
