Slime tubeless sealant - which one?
Is the "2-in-1" product their latest tubeless bike tire sealant? Can't find the previous Slime Pro or STR products listed on their website...seems like those are discontinued.
TL;dr
A few years ago I bought Slime Pro for running road tubeless. With a top off, I've had no problems or flats for 3 years and about 4000+ miles on those tires, so I'd say it did it's job...or the tires did (Hutchinson intensive 2). I hate latex products because I get 3k+ miles out of tires on my road bike which is usually 2 years of riding, and they just goop up within a few months leaving me no protection and hours of rim cleanup. Not to mention, the "ammonia free" orange seal actually did cause pitting in my dura-ace c24 wheels despite their non-reactive product claims.
So now I'm about to install some gp5000 tubeless, and it looks like since my Slime pro purchase a few years back, Slime has changed to Tubeless STR, and now to 2-in-1.
Is that right? Is this cheap, broad application 2-in-1 product their new and current tubeless bike tire product? I can't find any references on their website to the old Slime Pro or STR products, so just want to make sure this is the latest and greatest.

Hmmm... there are many LATEX based competing products.
The "Green Goop" has been out for a long time. I'm not seeing the differences in formulations, although that may be available with the MSDS sheets (without explanation).
The primary advantage of Green Goop is that it doesn't go bad over time. Fill it once, and forget it.
It looks like they have 4 different versions on their website now. But, none seem specific to the bicycle tubeless tire industry.
For now, you can still find "SlimePro Tubeless Sealant", "Genuine Innovations SlimePro Tubeless Ready Kit", "Slime Tubeless STR", and four different types of slime. I can't tell if that is new production, or NOS, or perhaps some vaporware.

Green goop does pool and dry up over extended periods of time, possibly moreso in dry climates. I've had to remove tires by cutting off the valve stems with a knife.

Destroyer of Wheels
I remember I was riding in the city with Slime sealant years ago (so, old formula, YMMV). Got a puncture from a big piece of glass in my rear, but didn't realize what the strange sputtering sound was at first. Finally pulled over after a few blocks, and as the sealant was escaping the spinning wheel did its best to fling it as far as possible. Frame, rack, backpack, shirt, helmet - all splattered, stained, still there on that old bike. Never used it again.

my history with slime was so bad I won't touch it..... newer stuff could be better

Orange seal endurance works great. It will seal porous michelin sidewalls, where other brands won't.
