Ultegra 8o20/8050 shifter hood compatibility

With the recent supply line problems, I am trying to get new 8020 shifter hoods and it seems everyone has them back ordered for who-knows-when delivery. Can anyone tell me, are the 8050’s that are made for Di2 shifting a good alternative? Are they the same?
