Road brakes with Canti-levers

Is this possible? I building a swb recuimbent bicycle, and it would be much easier to mount road brakes instead of brazing on bosses. Also would road brakes fit a MTB/BMX wheel? Would the wheels be too big?

Hehe- that's exactly the set-up I have on my home-built. I fabricated a bracket for the front one that spans the two studs, and mounted a regular caliper front brake. (long reach)
Yes, it does fit over the tire, sort of. I figure if you have a flat, it's going to be easy to remove anyway..... Just don't inflate till it's back on the bike.
