ONly happens when weight is applied to the pedals. I'm going nuts.

Link assist (embedded movies with sound track):

Most likely bottom bracket needs replacement. Possibly loose crank. Once I had a nasty creak which kept getting worse, and it turned out to be a crack in the frame.
Can you get the noise when you stand still on the bike but put full weight on the pedals?

You can always pull off the seals on the bearings and add some grease. You'll just need a thin blade of some sort to pry the seal off. A temporary fix at least until you can get it replaced.

I might be wrong, but never hear a chain make noise in this particular way. I once had a quick link which i forgot to put a drops of lubricant on upon installation make a creaking noise that I had wrongly assumed was coming from the BB, but not this. If you don't have lube and the chain has good anti-corrosion coating you can always try to pour a bit of clean water over it and see if that changes any sounds in any way, then wipe it off.

Press-fit?
I thought I was nuts for touring with 11-speed Shimano.

BTW when you mention only under load ... did you try to pedal without putting any much force into it, as in moving the chain but not having it bear any propelling forces? if it still makes noise like this i would wonder if the chain itself is not rubbing on anything ... like FD cage ...

Try to ride by spinning (pushing) pedals with unclipped shoes, to make sure cleat/pedal interface is not a factor
check rear derailleur pulleys (it is possible to re-grease them without unlinking chain)
do you have same level of noise on straight chain line vs non-straight chain line?
upload picture of bike, drivetrain, rear deraileur

Do you have to be riding the bike to get the noises? Any way to replicate the noises on the work stand? Upside-down in the hotel room?
Do you get the same noise in both the large and small ring in front? Through all the rear sprockets?
A few possibilities:
Go through the simple stuff first.
Check bike shops in the largest city near you. There may be ways to get parcels shipped quicker than you might expect. Bus/Courier service.
Companies like Ribble, Merlin, Chain Reaction, etc... will ship mostly around the world. If you can predict where you'll be in a few days, you may be able to get parts ordered ahead of you (although shipping times may vary).

A few possibilities:
- Rubbing the chain on the front derailleur?
- Seat or seat post squeaking
- Pedals rattling
- Bottom Bracket Bearings going out
- Bottom Bracket simply squeaking.
- Chain/Sprocket wear hitting wrong.
- Chain routed through rear derailleur wrong (peg between jockey wheels, or fallen off of jockey wheel)

where are you? I can maybe give bike store recommendations, but only a maybe, depends on what country you are in and where.
and I was surprised to see you and your bike, not what I was expecting to see from your "touring in central america" title.
ts a road bike with pressfit "pain in the arse" bottom bracket.
but yes, if you are lucky, it could be pedal interface too.

I think the problem is if that crank is 2 part bonded, CF cover glued on the main alu body.
Solution is Get a NEW crank WITHOUT CF.
There was a video and thread about this recently. Only takes a couple years to go bad from galvanic corrosion.
Damn stupid how they are trying to make weighweenie stuff. Alu with carbon is about the worst galvanic corrosion pair possible.

The inner ring on my old Campy crankset had worn like that. A bit shark toothed. Much more severe wear at power point with cranks horizontal than at the low power point with cranks vertical. I went ahead and replaced it with a super compact 41T.
