Mavic Cosmic Freehub Replacement

Hello all, Ive acquired a mavic cosmic rear wheel for a bargain as the freehub body threads for the lockring are totally fd. I believe this is the part taken from Mavic tech specs: FTS-L ROAD FREEWHEEL BODY HG11 8/9 compatible.
Do I need to replace like for like or can I use another part (shimano HG11 obviously)?
Could I buy a slightly cheaper option such as an Ultegra freehub body?

I gotta say that I would not trust bikeinn as they get a lot of bad reviews claiming to have a product, take your money and then make it very difficult to get a refund when the buyer finds out the parts aren't showing up for weeks or at all. (you won't find these reviews on their website of course) I'm guessing this is the only place showing the freehub body in stock. I put up this notice on another thread for someone looking for hard to get parts. Don't want to see anyone lose their money or riding time. I've never used this place but seems to be legit and may actually have your part. Mavic Freehubs - RogueMechanic (mavicparts.com)

I've placed a couple orders with BikeInn and not had an issue. I guess I got lucky with In-Stock items.

Yeah, probably many happy customers but there just seems to be too many red flags from lots of others. I just hope no one gets a bum deal.

You can find Mavic freehubs on Ebay quite often. The swap is really easy. I'd recommend picking up the Hubdoctor conversion kit too. It'll save some headaches down the road.
