Can't Shift from 11 to 10
I recently bought a hybrid bike that comes with a Shimano M7000 1x11 drivetrain.
I've tried the knob to fine tune but cannot get the bike to shift from 11 to 10.
It shifts fine from 10 to 11, but I have to shift from 11 to 9, then back up to 10, to get into 10.
All other gears are fine.
Any suggestions here?
Thanks!

The shift cable sounds like it is stretched beyond what the barrel adjuster can take up. Turn the barrel adjuster all the way in, loosen the cable at the RD, pull it tight, then reset the set screw and adjust from there...if it doesn't work, get a new shift cable.

One thing to check could be if the derailleur hanger is straight, but you need a special tool. for that. If it gets bent you will typically be able to get the gears working one one side of the cassette but not the other.

Hi all,
I was able to fix this issue by adjusting the b-screw. Before the height between the gears and the cog was too wide. I adjusted to be smaller and then I was able to shift from 11 to 10.
Thanks all!

Up shifting in the smaller (and more outboard) cogs can be a symptom of cable friction. Andy
