I know right? It's GRUPPO!

BTW, Camilo was my name in High School Spanish class. I'd write that in Spanish but the censor doesn't like it.

I was trying to keep to my absolute core peeves, but brifter would be right there if it hadn't been mentioned already.

OH, OH, OH. I just thought of what might be up there at the very top: using "c" to represent the width of a tire. As in "I've fitted 30c tires on my bike". Oh how I wish that would just stop. I guess if every single wheel in the world was 700c, it might be OK. But not.

Especially if you're Italian (spanish too?). I am tolerant of Gruppo (but use simply "group" myself), but only because I, for some reason, think derailleur is perfectly acceptable when derailer is endorsed by the late great Sheldon Brown and an English word, and easier to spell. I never claimed I was right or consistent, but I yam what I yam.

Realizing that I'm looking at a resurrected zombie thread I actually read four years ago.

It doesn't help that spare tires and tubes are labelled this way. They usually say 700 x 28c when in fact they should be labelled 700c x 28 because 700c is the accepted nomenclature for a tire or tube that fits on a 622mm rim.
