Crashed Centaur rear shifter body
just picked up a Fuji Provence for my wife, that i trace back to 2004 in my searches. I had Gatorskin tires put on, and a tune-up done, cause it’s for my wife, i want her training rides to be flawless on her new bike. So today was her first ride on the Fuji, and i was awoken to a call from her starting with, “I’m alright, but was in a crash”. Her friend suddenly stopped to pick up a light that had fallen from the lead bike of the three, and they collected and went down. So after the speed run in my Ford Ranger for 20 minutes, I got them back to their cars, and we got home.
Then my research began on “Campagnolo Centaur right shifter body, 10 speed”, the broken part. After not finding one that closely resembles it, i disassembled it and was contemplating epoxy, as the parts literally snap together. If it was my bike, no problem, but not for my wife, i can just imagine...
After looking all day and reading about what would work with Centaur rear RD, i can’t wrap my head around a compatible replacement for the Centaur shifter. I thought it was 2004, but I was seeing centaur date progression muck later.
Any advice on replacement component(s) would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jeff. (New, cant post the pics)

That group was initially released as Daytona, and later renamed Centaur because of trademark issues. The same body was used spanning 10+ years from the 90's on, for 9s and 10s groups other than Record and Chorus.
If you can't find the exact match, you can buy the Record version, but will need a small spacer under the cam.
…….....
For future reference, you might get more or faster responses by getting to the point sooner.

Here:
Campagnolo Ergopower Right Mechanical Body EC-RE200 | XXcycle - en
Absolutely no gluing the old broken body.
When you mate this unit with your old brake blade, bar clamp and hood, you'll be good as new. Since Ultrashift mechanisms need overhaul/servicing every 10 years or so, to replace worn G-springs and broken spring carriers, this solves all of your problems, existing and imminent.

I've taken apart and successfully put back together many generations and models of Ergopower levers, and I cannot figure out what you're referring to here.

Centaur and lower systems use a bronze bushing with a raised lip, elimating the need for the spacer.
In any case, it's moot UNLESS the OP buys only the body and transfers the innards.

The link Dave provided is a better choice.

The Ultrashift mechanism works best with Campy derailleurs with a higher spring tension, such as yours. I suppose the Escape levers would work with your derailleur, but they probably would introduce cable forces that would shorten the life of the shifter mechanism. And having taken apart Escape shifters, they are really really cheap and basic.
