Again the chain line is going to be your biggest issue. You have to find out what spindle length will give you the correct chain line. That's not easy to do since sometimes mfr's don't even list what the chain line is.
And for square tapers, two different models and mfr of crank might give different chain lines on the same length of spindle. So for new franken bike designs as yours will soon be, you just have to trial and error it or do some tedious calculations with data you'll have to glean from every possible source.
There are other things you'll have to consider too. If you change the rings to a larger tooth count, then will it be rubbing the chain stay? And other that you won't know till they happen.
You did check the BB shell of those bikes to make certain that adapter will even fit them didn't you?
