Replace disk brake system with a v brake system help?

from what I can see it seems it would be pretty easy to swap out a disk brake system for a V brake system as long as you had a mount for the calipers on your fork.
can anyone confirm this or shed some insight into the difficulties of doing so?

only reason I'd be doing this is for a hub-motor front wheel that isnt disk brake compatible. I'm looking for a new bike to install it on and so far the best contenders are disk brake only.

mechanical disc brake on a Mountain Bike?? the levers are the same pull ratio as a V-brake.

mechanical disc brake on a road bike? the levers may not be compatible.

Yes, if the fork has both mounts it is easy to put on a V brake, as long as you also have a mechanical rather than hydro lever.

It sounds like your electric wheel is for rim brake. So no problem there. But does it have the kind of axle the fork has? If it is QR; probably.

on eBay I see mtb forks for 26" wheels with bosses for v-brakes and discs.

Make sure you find a hub drive e-bike compatible fork that also meets the requirements of linear pull brakes and the frame's headtube and headset . Keep in mind as well that turning a standard bike into an e-bike will also void your warranty.
